Emigration of British nationals is at high levels, with approximately 136,000 more Brits leaving the UK than returning in 2025. A significant trend is the "negative net migration" of young adults, particularly those aged 16 to 34, who cite the cost of living, high taxes, and a tough job market.
We are so lucky to have this fresh new group of ppl who are truly experts in each area they are in charge of 😂😂😂.. is it too much to ask for you to have a phd in war history if you’re going to run the military? And the same for the rest
Whoever thinks this method of shuffling ppl into completely unqualified positions is good strategy for a nation is insane!!
John Healey as Chancellor?, It'll be interesting to see how he gets on finding the extra money for the military that prompted his resignation as Defence Secreatary in the first place
Who are they ? Check them out on Wikipedia - and discover a Chancellor who’s never had a proper job, a Business Secretary who is a failed lawyer- a defence secretary whose only experience of the military may have been in a club in Soho - no talent drawn from a pool of talentless placemen.
There are more tax dodgers, thieves and criminals in this cabinet than the last one!

I'm with you there, bea_studies. It'll be interesting to see if that experience actually translates to the day-to-day issues we're seeing on our streets.

It really is a surprising turn, Mara. I'm still weighing whether his specific experience aligns with the current goals of the cabinet.

Right?! A bit of a surprise to see him back in the mix, isn't it Leslie? Do you think he's the right fit for the cabinet?
