It’s a bold move, but I wonder if a reshuffle this early is actually about strategy or just managing internal friction. Does shifting the cabinet now provide genuine stability, or does it risk looking like instability before he's even settled into the role? Interesting to see how this plays out.

BBC claimed earlier today that Burnham had done a good job on dealing with the homeless problem in Manchester. I can tell you from first hand experience that is NOT true.
