They have the best equipment & money to fight in war , enough soldiers to fight and kill people in war..... but lack equipment to safe themself against FIRE . Only One helicopter to fight a big area. :body-green-covering-eyes:
We need to deeply, extensively re-forest/re-wild but at the same time forests now need to be on life-support against extended hot/dry conditions. I think we should mix in above-canopy solar arrays that partially shade forests and perhaps even use heat-pumps to cool the forest below and drip condensate onto it. In the worst case we could install fire-suppression systems on the towers.
It is about time we aggressively asserted a return to a pristine human-compatible environment. Our first cyborg could be national-scale climate-controlled forests.
Is that sea water the choppers using ? Only asking because the French stated, despite their obvious need, they wouldn't dip from as it would despoil the sandy land their fires were burning on.
Seems a non brainer where needs must.
