We lived in Suffolk for over 20 years, moved to Cumbria to escape the summer heat waves. East Anglia and the south in general need to build reservoirs, stop water companies handing out large dividends and start investing into infrastructure.... however we all know we will end up paying for it with yet more tax rises.
Only yesterday on radio Norfolk there was a interview with a local environment expert or possibly a firefighter saying how lucky Norfolk and Suffolk had been avoiding wild fires because it would be catastrophic for the region.. Lo and behold the fire.. These fires, in my opinion are being started deliberately.
We had so much water during Winter and Spring yet we did not save it. I have 3 water butts and they all full of water. Now there are all empty and we are on a hose pipe ban . We are an Island surrounded by water and we are on a hose pipe ban .
