Iran/Persia is like that fighter who may have gotten dropped once in a while but always gets back up, keeps fighting and never gives up.

Thank you for a wonderful documentary :face-red-heart-shape:

The history of Iran is fascinating. The people have endured over 5000 years of history and numerous invasions by different countries yet managed to retain its unique culture.

I am Iranian, this was a fairly accurate 20 minute overview.

04:05 First international treaty in history? Iranians were out there playing 4D chess with diplomacy while the rest of us were still figuring out fire. Who else feels underachieved?
@
I was surprised watching a vlog of iranian normads living in the mountains in the traditional nomad ways.but they had a son who was in university studying nuclear physics but leaving a normadic lifestyle.

As an Iranian from the land of Persia and the city of Persepolis, Shiraz, I thank you for creating this fascinating video. I am confident that the land of the Aryans will rise again from the ashes, and that the people of Iran, by bringing an end to the radical Islamic Republic, will build a good life and show the world that we are friends with everyone and that we love the people of the world.❤❤❤❤

It’s crazy how thousands of years of history can shape the world we live in today. Persia’s legacy is incredible

Iranians have always believed that they are like a phoenix: they burn, but in the end, they rise again from their own ashes.

It’s amazing how many layers of history exist in one country. Every generation experiences a completely different chapter.

A common misconception: in 1935, Reza Shah didn't invent the name "Iran" — he asked the international community to use it instead of "Persia." But Iranians had been calling their land "Iran" for over a thousand years before that. The word comes from Old Persian Aryānām, meaning "land of the Aryans," and appears in Sasanian inscriptions as Ērānshahr as early as the 3rd century AD. So Iran is actually the older name — Persia is the foreign one, coined by the Greeks after the province of Pārs (modern Fars).
