janissaries only incorporated firearms only in the 1440s not in 1300s like you claimed, they used bow and were still elite with it. use ai for the visuals only, please do the script yourself, great content tho

Love your videos but calling them the most feared empire ever is a stretch. Assyrians and Mongols say hello 👋
@
Think the mongols were more feared

The Ottomans raped Hungary left, right and centre. They murdered genocided nearly half of the population and left the country economically, socially, spiritually and militarily exhausted.
@
The most feared empire ever...Empire who couldn't defeat some greeks who done their Revolution against Ottomans and they were needing help of Egypt.
@
Damm man what are you talking about?
Ottoman Empire never reached up to Vienna City it was only an attempt to invade which led to itself the fall of Ottomans in 1683.
And your map shown is absolutely incorrect ottomans never control territories of Central and western Europe.

Interesting, and worth the summary history, but much is nonsense. Such as the tax ("jizya") by Muslims on "dhimmis", the second-class citizens defined as professing Christians and Jews. Those young Christian men who became great Ottoman warriors ("Janissaries") had been kidnapped and inculcated into the Muslim faith. Along with murdering their family members to prevent contesting the throne, sultans executed unsuccessful generals. Medicine, ancient Greek philosophy, art and literature was retained and grew in the West just as it did in the East.
