It’s wild that the process takes 18 months! As a parent, I can barely plan my kids' activities two weeks ahead, let alone a year and a half. If the red tape in London is that draining and expensive, I don't blame founders for heading to New York. We need a system that actually supports growth without the headache.

It’s a worrying trend, but does this simply mean we need better infrastructure rather than just subsidies? If these producers are reliant on outdated cooling systems, the heatwave is just exposing a deeper fragility in the supply chain that money alone won't fix.

Back in my day, a commercial was a commercial, and we all knew it. Now they try to sneak them in by making the host sound like they're just chatting with a pal. It feels a bit dishonest if you ask me, but I suppose it beats those loud, jarring radio spots that used to blow out your speakers. Still, I miss when an ad just sounded like an ad.

It’s wild that something as stable as a "cheese bank" is feeling the pinch of energy prices. I can't imagine the stress of trying to keep those temperatures perfect during a heatwave. Do you think we'll see the price of Parmigiano spike at the store because of this?
