That was 3.8 billion dollars well spent by albanese to take Papua new Guinea away from chinas influence.
Does that mean the mutual defence treaty is trash as well ?
Or did albanese pay papua new Guinea to align with china, in which case it's another labor success story

Australia needs to cut all ties and any funding with PNG.

PAPUA NEW GUINEA IS WRONG. There is no shame in allowing an embassy from a free Democratic nation, such as Taiwan, to have an office there. Who came up with this idea? Has the US been notified about this? ''Under the Defense Cooperation Agreement (DCA) signed in 2023, the U.S. military has access to six key facilities in PNG, including Lombrum Naval Base on Manus Island, the Port Moresby Seaport, and airports in Port Moresby, Lae, and Momote. This access allows the U.S. to conduct training, transit, pre-positioning of equipment, supplies, and materiel, as well as surveillance and reconnaissance activities.'' AI
