Kylian Mbappé has become the first player since Gerd Müller to score 10 goals in a single World Cup campaign. Before the tournament, his relationship with Real Madrid supporters had reached a breaking
Who's that guy with the pot belly on the right? Why is he sweating bullets over Mbappé?? Mbappé had a great world cup IMO. HE ONLY HAD A SINGLE BAD GAME AGAINST SPAIN. THAT'S IT!!!! How's it his fault if the rest of the team didn't wanna show up with the game against England??? He scored 2 goals for Christ sake!!! GTFOH with your hating!! 💯
6:46 PSG got better after they changed their entire footballing ecosystem.. they stopped signing players for namesake and started building team. They got rid of Messi, Neymar, Mbappe and a big transformation in the defence and midfield.
Deeney you're off base. Mbappe can't be the record goalscorer and also be the best pressing forward and also carry the team on his back. No one in the history of Football does that (Messi doesn't prees or run around either).
Troy is an idiot, hater and a 🤡 he should not be a pundit, Kylian is the la Liga , champion league and world cup top goal scorer, in a year that was really bad for his club and to a lesser extent to his country! And he is the problem... Michael Olisse for some has a great tournament through his 7 assists, although he failed to score a single goal ... Kylian score 10 and in addition to 4 assists..and he thinks he failed his team!!! If Spain wins the world cup tomorrow Yamal might win the ballon d'Or, with one goal in the world cup
These pundits are victims of the narratives they created in their own heads... trying to position singular stars like Mbappé as selfish solo scorers. It's not his fault that all these pundits and media are painting these players into an expectations they never asked for. It's a bloody team sport and when he scores it's great for the whole team whether it's for his own selfish reason or not.
if there was a FIFA rule that said any player that scores in the third place play off,it doesn't count in the Golden Boot race then it's pretty obvious Deschamps wouldn't have picked Mbappe but there isn't one so Deschamps picked him knowing what it would mean for Mbappe to win the Golden Boot for himself & for the french people & nation.
Mbappé could score 10 goals in one game and they'd blame him for not scoring 11.
There will always be "questions" when so-called journalism is against you.
Mbappé is one of the greats. Sadly, the person on the right is far too critical of both Mbappé and France, and seriously underestimates how difficult it is to score consistently at the World Cup. He seems to think scoring in back-to-back matches is easy, when it’s one of the toughest achievements in football.
Mbappé has done his job for both club and country. He scores, creates chances, leads from the front, and accepts responsibility. But football is an 11-player game—no single player can carry an entire team every match.
Against Spain, the first penalty—whether you agree with it or not—completely changed the momentum. France struggled to recover after that. Had France gone on to win, the narrative would have been completely different.
Some critics wanted Mbappé to step aside, yet when he scores, they act as if anyone could do it. It isn’t that simple. After the defeat, Mbappé even took responsibility for the team’s performance. What more can you ask from a captain and leader?
Look back at 2018: players like Pogba and Griezmann had outstanding games and supported Mbappé brilliantly. Against Spain, Olise had an off day, the midfield struggled, and France paid the price. That’s
Mbappe is the greatest player the world cup has ever seen. Since he was 18 he was pure excellence on the pitch, literally led his team in 3 world cups already at his age and has been pretty much the best player in the entire world for each of them
Huge Messi fan but Kylian will absolutely cement that record and I think for most players will be very hard to catch 22 goals in only 3 world cups wow that's an insane record!
Messi now has to score atleast 2 and an assist or score 3 to get the golden boot. Mbappe was farming goals today to make sure he gets it over Messi.
