Now all of a sudden people cry about the BallonDor being a MVP award for a single competetion huh? Where was all that energy at when Dembele won it? Dembele was invisible for half a year, performed only in the CL and got it but now all of a sudden its a problem when the World Cup MVP gets it.

This is why I don’t like the media. You placed Yamal higher than Olise. Olise had 5 G/A and Yamal only had one. Yet Olise actually broke Messi’s single season assist record in all competitions with 37 assists (21 in Bundesliga + 8 in UCL + 3 in DFB-Pokal + 5 at the 2026 World Cup for France), as the World Cup counts as part of the 2025-2026. I’ve heard no one talk about that, put some respect on his name. Yamal only provided 17 assists. Yamal and Olise are close on goals, with Yamal leading slightly- 24 goals to Olise’s 27 goals. The end result is Olise (59 G/A) v Yamal (44 G/A), yet Yamal is considered the better player. Stop letting age and Barca PR influence your decisions.

He's got it too far off.
