Put some of that money into setting up compulsory CCF for all those in secondary school. As well as improving our defense readiness it would do our young people a world of good.

Less spending, means less chance of the British regime causing problems for the British public by acting stupidly. Greatest threat to the British armed forces is dumb British foreign policy.
Pay your soldiers, then youd more than likley get a few more join, spending millions on bombs or tanks that havent improved since world war 2 is pathetic, most military equipment hasnt and wont improve for years and years. Pay your people
How will you do that? Roads are a mess, and the NHS is falling apart. The country is in debt, with 0.1 GDP growth worse preforming G7 country. Where is the money going to come from?
More “war propaganda” from the MSM. The pattern repeats “Russia is evil and wants to eat your children!” then “we need you to join the army do defend us!” . All the while the politicians are using our tax money to buy weapons from arms companies they have shares in.
Could give up on giving chagos islands charge yanks more for bases using and money saved pay for 3% growth on military expenditure and maybe use some of frigates and ships scrapping buy chieftain tanks jordan changing and adapt turrets to mk 3 ?
Spend what? Just look at the dilapidated state of the UK's general infrastructure. The roads are in a terrible and dangerous condition. And, we are up to our eyeballs in debt due to many decades of government mismanagement and financial ineptitude. These islands have been completely hollowed out and there is nothing left. We don't have a pot to p1ss in.
Politicians eventually complete destroy absolutely everything that they interfere with. And, none of them are ever responsible for anything they say, or do.
I know let's have another review. That will kick the can again.
