From Norway, good on you guys, and definitely no shame having lost to England this year after that performance against France.
I was happy to see how far the Norwegian team went, and I’m just as glad to see England make bronze, wish you got even further. There’s always next time eh lads?
Congratulations, cheers, enjoy the medal! Well deserved.

So proud of the team
Congratulations the great three Lions 🦁 🎉

My god, these pundits take themselves so seriously 😂

English fans have shown a surprising lack of appreciation for their national team throughout this World Cup. Following the semifinal defeat to Argentina, many supporters seemed to overlook the significance of England's achievement. Reaching the World Cup semifinals for only the fourth time in the nation's history is no small accomplishment, yet the disappointment of one defeat appeared to overshadow everything the team had achieved. By responding with a victory in the third-place playoff, England secured their second-best finish in World Cup history. A result that deserves recognition and respect rather than criticism.
Success in international football should not be measured solely by lifting the trophy. Consistently competing with the world's best teams and finishing among the top three is a remarkable accomplishment, and one that many footballing nations would gladly celebrate. Perspective matters, and this England side has earned far more gratitude than it has received.

The British media know how to rip apart what should be a cause to celebrate with their negative drivel. Seriously.

3rd place is a very strong result, and England's best result since 1966. I, for one, am proud of that result. A brilliant hat trick from Saka.
@
It’s not fair to call a World Cup third-place game a glorified friendly, especially after what we just saw. Sometimes the English media and English supporters are England’s worst enemies. Shame on you guys.
@
Proud of the team
@
The British media almost brought their own team down, but you didn't take Tuchel's cleverness into consideration.
@
How many friendly matches have you seen with that score line? That was one of the best WC matches I've seen since Germany knocked out Brazil. Great job, England!
@
Saka became only the fourth player in history to score a World Cup hat trick for the Three Lions, joining Sir Geoff Hurst (1966), Gary Lineker (1986), and Harry Kane (2018).

This is such a cynical take. The British media is toxic. Well done England for raising themselves and putting in a quality attacking performance

A win's a win. Congrats England! Now here awaiting negative comments from so-called "fans".

..THIS WAS ENGLAND'S 2ND BEST WORLD CUP EVER. THEY WON IN 1966. THEY FINISHED IN 3RD PLACE THIS YEAR. AND THEY HAD TWO 4TH PLACE FINISHES. THAT IS THEIR HISTORY...
@
well done england , am irish , world cup is biggest stage and to participate and get medal is massive achievement . Great for football in this part of world .
@
Sometimes you listen to pundits and they haven't achieved nothing themselves I believe in these boys and I'm proud that, they played with heart and intregrity sometimes reflect and look at what did you achieve yourselves which so far is probably nothing
@
"Before Wednesday he was akin to a national hero...", half an hour of football later... "he's under enormous pressure and will he continue as manager". You just summed how ridiculous, hysterical and OTT your coverage is there didn't you fellas. How many great performances did we see from any team during this World Cup, from France and Spain sure. But who else... Do the English media even watch any other football matches... They don't talk as if they do.

Yes boy's! Not the end we wanted but glad we were able to end with some pride!
@
Only the media could bring England down again
@
Pundits - crazy comments saying this wasn't a real game. No professional player wants to just turn up and get hammered on the world stage. So, give both teams credit. England picked themselves up and showed the world what they really are. France fought back, showing the world why they were the tournament favourites. This was everything we should expect - two very talented squads, attacking and wanting to win. Bellingham's goal summed it up.

England haven't won a medal in World Cup since 1966. It's a big milestone for them
