Maybe the steel tarrifs will help fund building steel ships 😂. The US shut down the plants due to it being more profitable to import goods than it was to refit the factories needed to build things and then conveniently blamed wage earners.
Waterfall planning and cost-plus contracting is just fueling incompetence. Anduril-ize every government product. Provide tax subsidies on raw materials, tooling, and labor. It’s that simple.

Well it’s nothing compared the speed of the development and construction of theses ships by China. U.S really need to get act together to produce more ships.
