UK is living inside a duality nightmare. It is one of Europe most important player, and at the same time the most irrelevant player within Europe.
You are required to make some special choices to reach that kind of status. And UK ruling elite have made those choices. I fault the UK elite that should have been educated enough to foresee this. This is why they are trained elite in the first place.
UK failing is not a vote failure, it is a failure of the elites that live inside this country and rule it long term. This failure should become a education project for their offspring. Right or wrong intent, current elite officials did take a wrong turn.
It could have been the right turn under certain criteria, it could also be the wrong turn under the same criteria. It does seem that the latter part became real.
