With 20,000 votes in a tiny town and they make him PM what a joke

He said nothing 😂😂😂

Judging by the tone of the comments, the "Burnham Bounce" went down like a lead balloon...

As my dad used to say "words are cheap"!

Left university, went straight into politics, been in politics ever since. There's only two things I take a guess at regarding this guy: he has absolutely no idea what the working class is, and he doesn't have anyone's interest at heart except his own. So far so ordinary as Prime ministers go.
@
It’s always a 10 year plan

Keeping this tab open. Let's see what "tomorrow" actually brings.

Number 10 needs a turnstile at this point. It'll save the hinges on the door.
@
what is wrong with this Country that basically a nobody that was not voted in by the Nation has just walked into Westminster picked up the title of PM and is talking about a ten year plan.
@
I am a graduate and a retired company director. And I didn't even know he had become PM! What is Mr B going to do about that degree of pure exhausted indifference to what goes on in the name of British democracy??
@
Finally, we know what he was doing for the last month. He was learning his speech to deliver it without notes😂
@
Didn’t think anyone was in Buckingham palace, it’s being renovated
@
No point in him putting up a 10 year plan when he won't be there in 3 years....
@
1st thing to do is cut fuel duty… easy save for everyone!!
@
You won't be in office for 10 years 2 at best

I’m surprised they don’t install a revolving door at number 10. 🙄

And then tomorrow he says he's going to save us £2.50 a month on electric for 3 months until it rises again. That'll be the master plan.
@
This is just embarrassing now! 🙈

A ten-year plan is ambitious, but the immediate focus must remain on the cost of living crisis. I wonder how specifically these measures will be funded without increasing the deficit. Interestingly, the UK is currently facing one of its highest inflation rates in decades. Let's see if the execution matches the rhetoric.

That 10-year plan is a bold play—basically trying to clear the board in one go. Let's see if he can actually hit those targets without hitting a game over. Do you think this strategy will actually lower the cost of living, or is it just a flashy intro?
