Coon hunting is more than a sport. It is a tradition rooted in family and partnership between humans and hounds.
I live in the rural south and the amount of these dogs who are chained up for 99% of their lives and who are just abandoned after hunting season to starve is sickening.
I would normally find this interesting. PBS always does a great job. But the first thing that comes to mind, "why did Trump find it necessary to cut there funding?" When they do such quality work. And that brings me 2 my second thought, MAGA. U all sound so ignorant to me. U have been duped and don't even realize it. How could that b? I mean, what a bunch. smh
Some of the happiest times of my life were me and my brother hunting with our old plott hound. Can't describe it to someone who has never experienced it. I've run redbones, black and tan, and treeing walker, but the plott was the best.
Mr. Laroux said he was a Native American, and then mentioned the Good Lord taking him to Heaven. I guess he's Christian rather than an adherent of Native American religion?

I'm really happy with how it turned out.
