Would've loved to have seen Olmo with a bit more of the ball and have runners either side of him as well as vertically.. he can hold up, change direction, decept, create, penetrate, drive or shoot. Absolute weapon rolls royce of a player.

1:15 one-man in the 18 is what I think made them so strong defensively all tournament. It severely limits the opponents counter attacks! In additional to the defence, you have 4-5 players in a great position to dissolve a counter. Not super exciting all out football but an appreciated tactic by this middle aged Canadian who grew up playing left back.

Got a friend that is in that industry and I wish he and his colleagues would get this sort of gratitude and acknowedgement. It's critical to mental health and to show family and friends their worth in an industry (entertainment/sports) where exposure is everything and not being shown has an implicit negative connotation. Great show - kudos to all.
Spain played a beautiful game. Constant possession, pass after pass, shot after shot, ball retention. Reminded me of Pep's Barca. I'm happy for Spain, they deserved it.
