It looks impressive as a tech demo, but I wonder about the actual utility. Between strict airspace regulations and the sheer noise these things usually make, where do they actually see this fitting into a city landscape? It feels more like a luxury toy for the few than a real transport solution.

Crazy crazy crazy!

We delivering people before gta 6
@
interesting how nobody talks about the noise these things generate. It will not be accepted in urban areas by people due to the noise

Does it come with a parachute?
@
Two words: midair collision.

People once laughed at the idea of chips implanted to track us.
Now we are watching YouTube on it.

Spot on, Theo. I’d love to skip the traffic, but I bet the licensing requirements will keep these away from my commute for a long time.

That "Land Aircraft Carrier" looks like it jumped straight out of a sci-fi cabinet! Seeing that flight module detach is a total game-changer for the commute. Do we think these will actually hit the streets soon, or is it just for the high-rollers?
@
Weird lookin' car. No wheels.

So it's an SUV with a mini chopper in the back? Weird.
@
This will make blade runner a reality!.😂
@
A helicopter?
@
The collapse can't come fast enough.
@
I wouldn't buy one until it flew at least five years incident free.
@
What's worse: 4 blades and motors or 1 blade and motor.
@
It's not a flying car, it's a A cargo van that can't hold any cargo other a helicopter/ drone like vehicle...... If it was flying car, when you got to your destination after flying you would be able to drive away.......With this you'd have to return to the original vehicle....So the only thing you've done is make A helicopter / drone vehicle that fits in a van..... Don't get me wrong it'll probably has some uses for fun but it really Is a impractical vehicle

Lol its a car that carries a heli.. not a flying car..
@
That's a waste except for maybe emergencies the amount of death will have from them
@
And once the skies become crowded with these airborne cars, what will be the laws and rules that control their use?
Acceptable altitude?
Right of way?
Licensing?
Means of signalling directional changes?
@
Seems impractical..
