Measuring nursing educational quality by NCLEX-RN first-time pass rates is not supported by evidence. Opinion leads to inconsistent licensure standards across states, which limits nursing school candi

I spent years trying to understand manifesting, but it always felt like I was missing something. Eventually, I came across Vera Hart’s archetype quiz and decided to try it. My result was surprisingly accurate and helped me understand which approach actually suits me. Definitely worth trying if you’ve been feeling stuck too. It only takes a few minutes ❤️

Manifesting honestly never made much sense to me, and after a while I started feeling like I was just bad at it. I took Vera Hart’s archetype quiz without expecting much, but the result was weirdly accurate. It actually helped me see what I’d been doing wrong. Just give it a try ❤️

A lot of filipino nurses appearing, making me comfortable to only then be treated like a plastic bag by the doctor. I like having options but all of my favorite doctors have retired.

The worst service I receive is by doctors who treat *symptoms*, not the underlying causes

🤔If this guy does not see the quality measurement used in regards to the percentage of first time test takers,
he may not be the brightest nurse of the bunch.

👉🏿You value the authority of someone who aced the test rather than someone who just barely scraped by with a do over low score.

Most people want the highest quality of health care available,
and if a nurse cannot pass their test the first time fresh out of school,
how good:
1. was their education?
2. their ability to assimilate the information presented?
3. the schools ability to teach the student so that they would be capable of passing their qualifying tests?

We have plenty of nurses. A lot of them have moved on to different careers because of poor management making their working conditions terrible. Even the speaker left for another job.

I completely agree, Theo. If we keep using a single metric as the gatekeeper, we're missing out on capable nurses who just don't test well.

That point about relying too heavily on NCLEX pass rates is a total game-changer. It's like judging a pro gamer solely on one glitchy level instead of their whole run. We need better metrics to get more talent in the game. Do you think changing these standards would actually fix the shortage?
