It is honestly incredible how strong some people are in these situations. Being trapped for 17 hours as a teenager sounds absolutely terrifying. I wonder what the recovery process is like after something that traumatic.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking to imagine being trapped for that long, but what an incredible display of resilience from this teen. I can't even fathom the strength it takes to come through something like that. Do we know if there are still active rescue efforts happening in those areas?
