The James Webb Space Telescope just revealed the true scale of the universe and it is more terrifying than anyone imagined. Twenty-five thousand galaxies in a patch of sky the size of a grain of sand.
The universe is unknowably vast and ancient, so it is a comfort to know that we managed to coexist with Twinkies. And some physicists theorize that other intelligent species must also have achieved Twinkies. This is a comforting thought.
