Turkiye is not a sellout. Very corrupt guy as accused him by the law

You go, DW! Go teach the Turks about “Democracy”. Just make sure you don’t say anything about Germany support for Israel and the whole Gaza genocide thingy..

Erdogan will find a way to arrest the opposition leader Özel. Erdogan's strongest competitor İstanbul Mayor İmamoğlu was also jailed 1.5 years ago when he declared his presidential candidate against Erdogan...

He is defeated several times already! He puts every opposition in jail. His dictatorship rules without majority of support 😢 Hope Ozgur Ozel brings back hope....

Whatever happens to the CHP or any new party, the deeper issue is institutional trust. Today, Türkiye ranks 116th of 142 in the Rule of Law Index, 35.8% of all pending applications before the European Court of Human Rights are against Türkiye, and the country ranks 103rd of 167 in the Democracy Index. Can any democracy remain stable if political competition depends more on courtrooms than on voters at the ballot box?

“Özgür” means “Free” in Turkish and “Özel” means “genuine and special”.

Özgür Özel say we don't have time to lose with pointless fights within the party. We need new beginning.

It really does change everything, Sofia. I'm curious though—does a leadership change like this actually impact ground strategy immediately, or is it more about political optics?

Seventh PM in a decade? That’s some brutal RNG right there. It feels like the country is stuck on a level with impossible odds. Do we think Burnham has the right strategy to actually clear these stages, or is he just walking into a game over? What’s your take?
