Big words, but can he actually deliver? Being a "leader for all" sounds great in a speech, but I want to know how this actually changes things for us commuters outside the London bubble. Let's see if the plan is more than just rhetoric.
@
He has a plan yes he does, Plan to keep the Fiscal rules and get the richer people even richer woohoooo celebrate lets get the poor people even more poorer no wealth tax instead cut tax on rich and burden the poor as that's what they deserve for working hard.
@
Typical Labour, Blame Maggie for all of UK's ills, Increase Tax, More control to the Unions. Less Freedom, More Power to the State. Who even elected this guy? GE now!!!!!!!
@
ooh what a surprise !!! We really are doomed.
@
Boooooooooooooooooooooooo
@
SAME OLD LABOUR tax and spend .. bend to the unions ... give him 6 months
@
Well at least he fought a tough battle against many opponents to win his place in government he beat everyone who stood against him , they had no chance ..................didn't he ........?
@
Another unelected Fabian 👎🏻
@
It all very well saying 'I have a plan' if it fails to come to fruition its not worth the paper its written on.
@
There was a literal shanty town outside the council building in Manchester for months with this guy in charge. I'm beyond cynical, they'll pull an old labour trick and make things progressively worse for whoever beats them in 2029 out of sheer resentment. Emperor's new clothes, another socialist and life gets worse for the working class. How coincidental.
@
Crackadilly is his legacy which will be emulated nationwide

@
His ready to bring more vibes this is starmer 2.0 he will be worse
@
Judging by Labour previous track records he’ll actually just be a leader for India, Africa & the Middle East, rather than Britain

Fabian, hate not hope. No hope for UK then. My sibling lives in Manchester and just wants to be able to get out of the dump. It's awful.

He cringes me out. Another puppet.
@
He done nothing for Manchester but to paint the buses and trams in "yellow" and nothing else. Totally only listens to himself only
@
No Mandate Andy is here.
@
If Burnham gave Mark Anthony's speech, Caesar would have jumped up and given a Victory Lap. 😅
@
As a man of today's instant gratification society, if he hasn't turned everything around by next Thursday, we need a GE .

He won't last. 6 PMs in just 7 yrs that sums it up. The truth is it really doesn't matter who comes next. Any PM that comes will definitely fail to complete his full tenure no matter whatever party he/she may be from . People will still remain dissatisfied of their own economic conditions & trying to fix by further taxing the Working & Middle Class is eventually coming to its exhausting point.

So further twisting the arms of the Working class & Middle Class will be a political suicide for any PM to come.

The only solution for economic stability is the law that needs to be brought in & that is 2% Tax on Billionaires' passive income , that needs to be the priority which will bring a lot for the Working Class family , build healthy infrastructure along with healthy Public Services & healthy economical growth as well . And that's the kind of PM who will last long.

So the factual solution is for the greedy Billionaires to take this on their chin & have the decency to be with the people in making this country great again.

The fact that Burnhams new advisors are from hate not hope is a massive red flag from day one

Ladies and gentlemen.. mr Andy Burndown the uk economy pending

Crown claimed, trials await.

Masters of Resources. Yes, I do think anyone who works 8-9 hours a day should be able to afford Rent, bills, and groceries with their paycheck alone, no matter what job they do. That's kind of the whole point of having a freaking job, and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.
@
Hopefully, "North, the South, the East and the West" isn't your order of priority and merely a constraint of expression.

Tax wealth not work
