Targeting energy infrastructure like this just makes the humanitarian crisis so much worse for the civilians who aren't even involved in the fighting. We really need to see more international pressure to protect critical utility grids in conflict zones before the entire system collapses.

In the Pearl Harbor attack, America suffered a direct loss of approximately $100 million (approximately $250 million in today's prices) in the then prices. On the contrary, in the recent Iran conflict, America has suffered massive infrastructure damage of $500 million (approximately $5 billion) due to missile and drone attacks on American military bases in the Gulf countries (Bahra, Qatar, Kuwait). For this double loss if any other American President were there, he would have immediately dropped a nuclear bomb on Iran.
