Every time this flares up, I just think about gas prices. It’s wild how one narrow strip of water can basically hold the global economy hostage. Does anyone actually believe a diplomatic solution works here, or are we just waiting for the next big escalation?

It feels so unfair that someone can just cause chaos and then hide behind a legal shield. The Harry Dunn case was heartbreaking because it showed exactly how broken this system is. Do countries ever actually push for more accountability or is the status quo too convenient?
