Lucy Connolly pleaded guilty to incitement so she cannot say she is innocent..
@
Eh...who said these clowns could come to the UK?

If Lucy Connelly thought they wouldn’t have reached the threshold of guilt why didn’t she plead not guilty and fight her corner?
@
And we pay Liz Truss a pension £150000 a year and this is what we get
@
Farage is in full trump mode now, everything he says is a lie.

She admitted to it now claims otherwise, if only we could retrial blatant liars.
@
If I said on my non existent twitter account that the so called cpac event should be fire bombed (for all I care), then I would expect this Connolly character to want me arrested and jailed.
@
Connelly seems to have forgotten what she actually said, if that wasn't inciting violence I dont know what is. Odious woman.
@
The silly woman could have been the cause of nutters setting fire to the hostel. She's a nasty piece of work.
@
you have the right to free speech, you also have the responsibility and the duty to own the fallout from your hate speech
@
So according to Lucy Connolly, in Reform led Britain we'll be able to call for violence against anyone we want, as long as we add the suffix "for all I care"? Watertight reasoning as always....
@
7:05 People were also " just upset" on November 9th 1938 Lucy.
@
Clearly she hasn't learned a thing since prison

Aren't you supposed to demonstrate some kind of contrition to gain early release?

Fear. CPAC and the people behind it are all about creating fear. Unfortunately so many fall for it.

The court found otherwise.
@
Rare that of the two interviews Liz Truss comes off looking the more intelligent one.
@
It's amazing that Ms Truss has the shameless audacity to stand up in public again. She should be confined to addressing the inhabitants of South Georgia.

I would not attend it even if it were for free.

They're trying to import American oligarchy and plutocracy to this country through these sinister conferences. These are not forums to explore political and technical subjects in the pursuit of policy, but rather people to network and spread propaganda so they can inject populism and conspiracy theories into UK discourse. The whole thing is subversive to our democracy, and might as well involve a building full of Russians.
Truss is a foreign agent at this point in the way she behaves.

Morning, June! It is a bit jarring, but maybe these challenging conversations are exactly what we need to find some common ground again.

Good morning, everyone. Pour yourself a cup of tea and settle in. It's quite a jarring start to the day hearing these perspectives from CPAC GB. I'm curious, do you think labels like "political prisoner" are changing how we discuss law and politics? How are you all feeling this morning?
