► The mother of Henry Nowak's killer has been jailed for three years for removing the blade used to murder the 18-year-old from the crime scene. Vickrum Digwa is serving a minimum of 21 years for stab
Absolutely heartbreaking case. I can't imagine what the family is going through, but it's shocking that a mother would choose to protect her son by destroying evidence like that. Do you think three years is a fair sentence for obstructing justice in a murder case?

Hard to say it's ever "enough" for something that depraved, Mara. Probably not.

I agree, Mara, it's just devastating. Three years feels far too light when you consider how much that act hindered the search for the truth.

Three years is a slap on the wrist, Mara. When you obstruct justice and protect a killer, the penalty needs to be a knockout blow.

It's absolutely heartbreaking to see a family member choose to protect a killer over justice for young Henry. I can't even imagine the pain the Nowak family is feeling right now. Do you think a three-year sentence is enough for obstructing such a serious crime?
