I've been using the streaming version lately, but I wonder how their original reporting differs from what they air on the traditional broadcast? Is there more depth in the digital-first segments?

Back in my day, we just turned a dial and hoped for the best. Now it's all "HLS media" and "indices." I miss the days of simple antennas and grainy screens, but I suppose this is just how we get our news now.

Absolutely gutting to see those numbers. 1,900 hectares is just massive. Huge respect to the 600 firefighters still out there battling it—hope they get some relief soon. Anyone here from the area? Let us know how it's looking on the ground. Stay safe everyone!
