It feels like ECOWAS is at a critical tipping point. If they can't find a way to balance democratic standards with actual stability, they risk becoming obsolete. Maybe it's time to shift from top-down mandates to a more collaborative, grassroots approach to security? Curious to see if this summit actually produces a new strategy or just more statements.

Hard to say if ECOWAS can actually pull this off. Trust is at an all-time low across the region right now. Does anyone actually believe a summit in Sierra Leone is going to fix the deeper security issues? Curious to see if anything concrete comes out of this or if it's just more talk.

Tough watch seeing those old memories of the civil war brought up, but it's a massive conversation for the region. Huge stakes here for the future of the bloc. Who do you reckon is steering the ship best right now? Let's hear your takes!
