knife guy at 5:58, that's for sharpening your knife, not cutting things. you want to make sure your blade stays at the same angle the whole time you're sharpening and if you don't have a jig to help with that, this is the next best thing.

13:20 It's called a Shelf Cloud -- It's formed when rain-cooled air from a thunderstorm (usually an organized line of thunderstorms) spreads out at ground level (typically called a cold pool or outflow) and forces surrounding air (typically much more warm an humid) up off the ground. The warmer, moist air rapidly cools as it rises and condenses into a cloud that essentially sits along the edge of this cold pool. There are also a few other "layers" of this "shelf cloud" formed above it by surrounding air just above the ground. Given it's smooth, laminar appearance it is almost a certainty that this forced air is fairly stable, meaning it isn't rising on its own after being forced aloft and forming a cloud. If it were unstable, it would be more billowy (cumulus) and extend upward into a new storm tower(s). The color is just a product the light being scattered through the storm "unequally"... that is to say that cyanish blue/green tends to get scattered fairly well by rain and sometimes hail when the sun, storm, and observer are at the right angles.

0:18 Considering it’s a Hammerhead, they would be actually in a better spot than if it was a Oceanic White-Tip or a Bull Shark. If anything, the paraglider would absolutely freak out the poor shark not knowing what it was.

Hammerheads are mainly predators of Stingrays and are notorious for being cowards, as even bubbles from scuba suits make them flee, so special suits have to be made to study them.

The heat wave didn't trigger the algae bloom. The run-off of excess fertiliser from fields, or untreated water from water treatment plants did.
That's what fed the algae in the first place.

3:30 everyone talking about the game but I'm more happy to see the cop being such a nice man.

13:49 When he said that he thought there were 5 people, I deadass looked at it and said “Nah, there’s only three. The two in the back are clearly headrests.”

9:26 that looks more like a mosquito than a bee. That thing has a sharp nose.

Edit: just looked it up, it is actually a type of fly that looks a bit like a bee/mosquito and is completely harmless. It uses that long nose for drinking nectar like a hummingbird.

8:17 so for those who want to know, these birds are called Killdeers and feigning injury to distract predators is a common tactic they employ. Unlike many birds, they nest near the ground not in trees especially rocky/gravelly areas since they act as natural camouflage for their eggs.

3:40 The cop going "bro he's just a little kid why you gotta crush him like that?" is hilariously precious >XD

Birds using fire as a weapon. No fairytale never even thought of that
