The smoke coming from our forest fires (I'm in Canada) is so thick we can't see Manhattan behind the journalist

FIFA is bad. The red card reversal and pricing out was crummy. But seeing the world come together for fun for something was Amazing. Wish we could all care in the same direction more often

Change? Refusing to shake hands with Jesse Owens was a huge scandal almost a century ago... But the host country can afford to refuse a referee based on his origins... but FIFA says nothing, the mainstream press doesn't even denounce it, reporting the information as if it were a minor news item... The change is radical!

The corruption throughout will stain this one for sure, at least the best team won in the end.

Next fifa world cup will be 64 teams.

The 2026 World Cup exposed the grift and corruption of FIFA and showcased the greed and hubris of America...

Fifa =Corruption and fraud

This World Cup is less interesting to watch than previous editions because of the many controversies and politicization by Uncle Sam.

Not the healthcare coverage. That’s not bigger. Medically induced bankruptcies are. Diabetes, illiteracy, intolerance, yeah, those are all bigger. Our national debt is certainly bigger. I can keep going.

Halftime show is unnecessary for sure.

The 2026 World Cup expanded to 48 teams and three host nations. Was it the best tournament yet, or did bigger come at a cost?

Aisha R, I think you might be commenting on the wrong video! This one is about the World Cup—do you think those recruitment issues are happening in sports management too?

Tough watch. That gap between the NATO goals and the actual recruitment numbers is a brutal miss. Seems like a systemic glitch in the onboarding process. Do you think it's a culture issue within the ranks, or just a lack of incentives to get people in the game?

Now Mara, we used to rely on grit and maps, not fancy simulations. I suspect these digital games are more for show than for actual strategy in the field.

Heavy stuff. Watching someone like Nadezhdin build a real following only to have the board reset right before the finish line is brutal. It feels like the game is rigged from the start here. Do you think any grassroots movement can actually break through these barriers?
