Terrifying footage. It’s a stark reminder that no matter how remote the location, we're always guests in their territory. I've seen similar reports coming out of South Africa and Brazil recently; these encounters seem to be happening more frequently globally. Hope the man makes a full recovery.

Absolutely terrifying footage from Bruny Island. Glad to see the quick response from the rescue crews to get him airlifted out of there. Hope he makes a full recovery! Has anyone here ever had a close call while fishing or swimming?
