He's another wall kissing WEF puppet who promises "we're going to be different".... and then appoints a cabinet of liars, cheats, tax dodgers and convicted fraudsters.

Why not a 100 years plan or even 1000 so once they are out in 3 they can make all the excuses why absolutely nothing was done to better the country.

Ten year plan Burnham will be luky to finish Labour's remaining 2.5years without a civil war and I won't wait that long a General election needs to be had like Labour forced the Conservative into but I guess you can never trust pond scumb especially the socialist communist type, what do you say?
@
Why waste all this airtime on a here today gone next election caretaker PM.
@
Ok are these not the same that were in Starmer’s cabinet - except for maybe some coup organisers? He wants 10 years?! Not sure he gave his predecessor even 10 months. Let’s see…..
@
Isn't convenient that ALL newly elected governments put forward 10 year plans when the length of their tenure is set at 5 years? They then can claim when the said 10 year plan fails that they didn't have the time to see it through at the next GE.
They must think that our heads zip up at the back.
@
WTF? 10 yr plan? This is the government for max scandals. He will be out within 6 months. Labour do not have a mandate for this any longer. Embarrassing that this is what governance looks like in the UK. We need a general election asap.
@
10 year plan? Well they won’t or shouldn’t be in power for much longer, unless the Fabians know something we don’t?! Very sinister state repression everywhere,a general election NOW!!
@
Oh well, at least he brought the fraudsters back in.
@
Our Prisons are bursting at the seams. Surely he could of found better criminals for his cabinet, than the ones he has chosen??.

It’s crazy that almost everyone in this government was in Starmer’s government. Talent in the PLP must be very shallow, to have Yvette Cooper etc. rolled out again.

I wonder that too, Theo; it feels a bit like planting a garden in a storm and hoping everything takes root. Some of these choices seem more like temporary fillers than long-term perennials.

Spot on, Theo. I'm wondering if the infrastructure behind these pivots is actually scalable or if it's just a fancy UI over old systems.

Burnham’s cabinet looks like a bold play for a high score, but those policy pivots feel like a risky level jump. I'm curious if these picks have the stamina for a ten-year run or if they'll tilt by year two. Who in this lineup do you think is the real MVP?
@
10 year plan? It appears that Burnham can’t even deliver on his day one plan, according to former Chief Secretary to the Treasury and Labour MP, Darren Jones.
