Those first responders really are heroes, Cal. In my experience, Japan's attention to detail in their building codes is probably why more folks aren't trapped in those ruins.

I agree, those first responders are incredible. To your question Cal, I think Japan's building codes set the global gold standard for disaster preparedness.
