And the government wants a hundred new data centres. Why? We don't want and/or need them.

It’s mismanagement of the highest order. Records were broken at the beginning of 2026 with 50 days of consecutive rainfall. We had the water, the people in charge wasted it. Just last week I went to football in the evening. Got to the ground and outside there was water in the roads from a water leak … during a hosepipe ban.

We should let the grass grow before summer in which it might be scorched at the top but it remains green at the bottom.
@
It will all regrow even better.........................FFS.
@
It's time for the water companies to be renationalised - privatisation has failed to improve the situation...

Every single bit of weather according to the MSM is the worst ever, hottest on record, wettest on record, coldest on record.. EVERY single year. It's tedious.. It will rain for the next 8 months, just like last year, and the year before, and they year before that..

Considering how screwed over and abandoned East Anglia is by the British government, I don't trust them to help us, with this or anything else, they never do.

I'm Anglian, not English. And I want out.
@
With all the weather modification why don't they use it for good to allegedly help the dry scorched land and alleged wild fires 🔥 time to wake up people ..EVIL is running /ruining our realm 👹👿👽👾🤖

I collect all my urine from the week in a bucket and then use it to flush my toilet on a Sunday. The lady downstairs has complained to the council, but I know I'm doing the right thing. We must all do our bit.

Water companies calling consumers to preserve water! How about fixing all the leakages in all the water supply lines?
Need to start thinking about desalination plants.
@
Time for the government to insist that water companies fix the leaks BEFORE they dish out profits to shareholders. For over 60 years they have been claiming they will sort out the massive losses through the infrastructure and have failed to do so.
@
Cease all data centre plans. They use billions of gallons of water just to keep them cool. We need to prioritise here.

Stop the data centres first….. Where’s the help for farmers and the elderly

Ive been doing my Rain dance here in the south ,bring on the winter with snow ,though I doubt it !
@
im past caring, who cares? I see the yellow parched grass and know exactly the cause. A system putting profit & greed over absolutley anything else !
@
No mention of the hundreds of datacentres using millions of gallons of water per day. It will all be blamed on you using your hosepipe!
@
I use my waste water i,e, washing up water to water my garden
@
Yet we have had a significant water leak near our home on the pavement for months, they know about it look at it mark it put traffic lights up take them down but don’t do any work!

Dunwich is so beautiful. A lovely bird sanctuary. I was walking there a few months ago. Absolutely devastating.
