Absolutely heartbreaking. It’s devastating that these records were kept so poorly or intentionally obscured for so long. I wonder if forensic genealogy or updated DNA mapping will eventually help identify all of them and give these families some actual closure. Truly a dark chapter.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. I can't believe something like this was allowed to happen and stay hidden for so long. It's so important that these families finally get some answers and the children are given the dignity they deserve. Thanks for covering this.

Oh my god, this is absolutely heartbreaking! 💔 I can't even imagine the pain those families have gone through all these years. How could something this cruel actually happen? It’s just sickening. Thank you ITV News for bringing light to this, these poor souls deserve justice and peace.
