Sir Alex Younger, the longest-serving head of MI6, died in June 2026, aged 62. He spent 30 years at MI6, Britain’s foreign intelligence service, with six of those as its boss. Few people better unders
Respect for Sir Alex Younger, intelligence and clarity, best of the best political analysis, RIP. And my respect to journalist Shashank Joshi-very professional, well prepared interview, a rare thing nowadays
As an American, I had to come here to find out what might happen to my country as a result of this Iran war madness. There's no transparency from our government.
Fascinating guest, but the anchor took up nearly 40% of the video. Setting up questions for 1-2 minutes cuts into valuable time with the expert -shorter prompts would make these interviews so much better!😊
Hope a free and democratic Iran. However, I think any violence worsens the situation. Democracy and freedom comes gradually. It needs patient and smart leaders.
I listened to an interview with Alex Younger a few years ago. His clarity and thoughtfulness were refreshing, and ever since then I’ve searched from time to time to see if there were any new interviews with him. He struck me as an honorable person. May he rest in peace.
With the benefit of hindsight it’s clear that the expert analysts, such as this gentleman, knew almost exactly how this would play out and were ignored. Of course it’s a shame to lose such a deep thinker and pragmatist, but it is fortunate to be able to remember him in the appreciation of his insight
My deepest condolences to the family and deep respect for Sir Alex. We would be a better world with more reasonable people all around the world 🌎🌍
